Meet Sheana

Based in Nebraska, Serving the U.S., photographing people, livestock and weddings since 2019

My work is rooted in a moody western aesthetic — deep tones, rich texture, and cinematic storytelling.
For sessions that call for a lighter feel, I also offer a timeless natural edit with true-to-life color and soft contrast.
Both styles are designed to feel honest, intentional, and lasting.

About Oxbow & Ember
I was raised around wide skies, long days, and stories that weren’t always spoken out loud — the kind you feel more than you hear. Moments shaped by work, patience, and connection. Moments that matter long after they pass.
Oxbow & Ember was built for those stories.
An oxbow is formed slowly, shaped by time and change as a river finds its way. An ember holds warmth long after the fire settles. Together, they represent what I believe photography should do: preserve stories built through experience and capture moments that last beyond a single day.
Rooted in the Western way of life, my work blends documentary storytelling with a timeless, intentional approach. I focus on what’s real — the grit, the quiet, the connection — creating images that feel honest, grounded, and enduring.
Oxbow & Ember serves Nebraska and surrounding states, documenting weddings, livestock shows, rodeos, ranch life, and agricultural events with care, respect, and an understanding that these moments aren’t replaceable.
If you value depth over trends, connection over posing, and imagery that feels true to your story — you’re in the right place.
